Mian Dao 拉面馆

Ordered the ramen del dia (ramen set meal) for a very affordable price of 9.95 Euros, comprising a ramen, a side (gyoza in this case) and a drink. I ordered the beef 拌面, which meant ramen paired together with an umami sauce. The ramen was hand-pulled and springy, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. The gyoza was also perfect, with the skim being of perfect thickness that allows u to appreciate the savoury meat. Very friendly owners, would definitely recommend!

One of the best places to have ramen in Barcelona and the perfect Xiao Long Bao! I have tried thousands of xiao long bao (when I lived in Melbourne) and most of them don’t come with pork soup inside, but these are juicy inside! Also Rames is good, you can feel that is “casero”. About the place, it is cozy and the lady who works as a waitress is lovely, she doesn’t speak Spanish well, but if you tell her at the end that the food was tasty, she will smile at you. Please, this is a place where you go to enjoy the food and go with “la calma”, slow cooking, this is not a fast food environment.

Had a good lunch at Mian Dao today! The noodles are all handmade with love by the chef & this is evident from the springy-ness of the noodles. I ordered the picante noodles (辣椒拉面) and added additional beef slices. It was served with the perfect spice level & I loved how tasty each slice of beef was. Overall it was a great experience as the staff was also very friendly. For those that want more spicy/less spicy noodles, feel free to inform the staff of the spice level that you want!

So happy to be able to eat this owner's delicious handmade noodles again! Tasty as we remembered it and the same super friendly chef-owner! I say "again" because we ate-in when Mian Dao was in Badalona, then the pandemic happened and we lost touch so it was a great (and delicious) surprise to find Mian Dao in Barcelona, just round the corner from Torre Agbar so easy to get to. Defo try his noodles and the potstickers!

We were here two times during a conference which was held around the corner. Servis was a bit chaotic, but very friendly. One guest left before she was served and she waited 20+ minutes for food. Speaking of which.. the food is amazing. Silky smooth ramen, meaty without any bad sour or bitter undertones. Meat was juicy and tender and eggs also very umami. All and all, perhaps make a reservation and you won't be disapointed.
